Brahmatal Trek is considered an ‘all-in-one’ trekking destination. Covering 24 Km, it offers breathtaking views of Himalayan peaks such as Mt Chaukhamba, Mt Neelkanth, and Mt Hathi Ghoda. The trek features snow-laden trails, high-altitude serene lakes, and lush green forests—perfect for solo travelers, first-timers, and experienced trekkers. Winter months (Oct–Jan) are ideal for snow enthusiasts.

  • Summit day: 7–8 hours (5 hours ascent, 2–3 hours descent)
  • Multiple exit points for solo trekkers

Itinerary Highlights:
  • Day 1: Drive from Rishikesh to Lohajung (260 Km, 9 Hours). Overnight at homestay.
  • Day 2: Trek from Lohajung to Bekaltal (4 Km, 4 Hours). Overnight at Bekaltal campsite.
  • Day 3: Trek from Bekaltal to Brahmatal Lake (7 Km, 5 Hours). Overnight at Brahmatal campsite.
  • Day 4: Trek to Brahmatal Summit (6 Km, 5 Hours). Overnight at Brahmatal campsite.
  • Day 5: Trek back to Lohajung (7 Km, 5 Hours). Overnight at Lohajung homestay.
  • Day 6: Drive from Lohajung to Rishikesh (260 Km, 9 Hours). End of trip.
